Celebrity sightings in Maine always draw a crowd. People in Vacationland are fascinated when a little piece of Hollywood decides to visit our humble little home.

So you may be surprised to realize that some big-time names in acting, writing and directing aren't just visiting when they're spotted in Maine, but actually own or have owned homes here.

According to the Bangor Daily News, more than 30 celebrities in their field have decided Maine is the perfect getaway for them.
