Diverge, a popular restaurant in downtown Dover, announced Friday it would close through at least Saturday after learning that an employee was in direct contact with an individual who tested positive for COVID-19, according to a Facebook post.

The restaurant said that it would close Friday and Saturday "as a precautionary measure," according to the post.

In the post, Diverge said all staff is expected to be tested for coronavirus before any next steps are taken.

We will be closed tonight Friday January 29th & Saturday January 30th as a precautionary measure. We were informed today that an employee was in direct contact with someone who has subsequently tested positive for COVID. All staff will be tested, and pending results, appropriate measures will be taken. We will keep you all updated, and as always, we appreciate your understanding and continued support.
