Whether you think Fenway Park is a top five ball park in America or not, there is no doubt it has incredible history and some of Major League Baseball's greatest moments.
Going there for a Fenway Frank and a Red Sox game is always fun and nostalgic but have you ever tried golfing at the iconic Fenway Park?
Probably not because Fenway and Topgolf have only partnered for this experience one time - last year. This year, they are back and ready to bring this once in a life time experience to Boston again.
This opportunity is for all skill leveled golfers.
"Toptracer technology will track your golf ball and instantly score every shot," according to the official MLB and Topgolf website. The objective and "rules" seem very straight forward: "Golfers will tee off from Fenway's bleachers and take aim at targets staged throughout the field."
This is an example of what it will look like. *This is not Fenway Park*
There are various ticket options that are really cool sounding. There are spectator tickets, regular admission, and an experiential package.
The experiential package includes one hour of teeing off, and a whole lot more, according to the website:
Fenway Park VIP tour immediately following tee time
A limited edition Topgolf hat by Black Clover
Two (2) drink tickets
A Topgolf Lifetime Membership
One (1) $10 off gameplay at Topgolf redeemable at any US location (excluding Las Vegas)
An exclusive Topgolf drawstring bag
You can reserve time slots for one hour on the website.
Prices start at $70 per person for a group of six people.
If you are curious about how the game is actually scored, it is pretty interesting. "Each person has 5 shots to hit at the 5 different targets on the field....After each player in the bay then hits their 5 shots, the player with the highest points will win that round, according to the website. Of course, the further back the target is, the more points it is worth, and, "with your last shot worth double the points."
Whoever has the most rounds won at the end of the tee time wins.
Topgolf Live at Fenway Park will begin Saturday, November 5, and have tee times running through Wednesday, November 9. Tee times begin at 10 a.m. with the last one at 9:15 p.m.
