Don’t Use Apple Maps to Get to Maine’s Second Chick-fil-A in Westbrook or You Could Get Lost
Chick-Fil-A just opened at Rock Row in Westbrook. With the only other location in the state all the way up in Bangor, it's needless to say that people were very excited.
So much so that Chick-Fil-A has hired Westbrook police to assist in directing traffic and police presence will continue into this weekend as REI is opening today, November 12th.
Despite reports from the opening weekend of waiting over 2 hours people are still flocking to indulge in the tasty tasty chicken.
If you're planning to go anytime soon though, maybe opt for using Google Maps or Waze to get there as Apple Maps might get you lost.
As reported by WMTW, if you plug Chick-fil-A into Apple Maps GPS it will take you to a dead-end on Roy Avenue which is about 2 miles away from Rock Row.
One resident even put up a sign with the address in hopes of helping.
"Chick-fil-A is at 94 Rock Row"
The neighborhood seems to be in fairly good spirits despite the increased confusion with a car getting lost and turning around about every 20 minutes since Chick-fil-A opened WMTW reports.
Apple has yet to comment on the issue.
