The Dover Chamber of Commerce Wants To Give You $10,000

I get that everyone is talking about winning millions right now because of Mega Millions and Powerball. Actually, they're talking about winning billions at this point. Not to be pessimistic at all, because any one of us that are playing the lottery right now can win, but we're up against the entire country trying to win this money.

Know what has much better odds? Trying to score $10,000 from the Dover Chamber of Commerce in New Hampshire.

According to their Instagram page, the chamber just announced their 19th annual sweepstakes and auction, which serves as a fundraiser for the Dover Chamber of Commerce and could also line your pockets with a sweet $10,000.

This year event, like almost every other event ever in the past year, will be done virtually. Tickets are $50 each and only 300 will be sold. So, unlike your astronomically low chance you have to win over a billion dollars between both lottery jackpots, you have a 1 in 300 chance of winning $10,000 from the Dover Chamber of Commerce. Multiple tickets can be purchased by the same person, too, so obviously that ups your chances to take it home.

The grand prize winner will be drawn on March 17, which is St. Patrick's Day. Even if you don't end up with the winning ticket, you could still be a winner since raffles and a silent auctions will also be happening at the event.
