A stubborn fire destroyed a building at the Epsom Valley Campground on Friday night.

The campground said on its Facebook page that the house and office, located at the entrance to the campground off Route 28, are a total loss.

NEWS 603 reported that some of the hot spots reignited early Saturday morning and equipment was brought in to tear down what was left of the fire.

"We appreciate the outpouring of support and thank everyone for allowing the family time to work through this together," the campground wrote.

The campground said on its website that due to the fire, it is not taking reservations.

The Epsom Fire Department did not respond to Seacoast Current's request for more information on Saturday morning.
