A 21-year-old man involved in a motorcycle crash on Route 125 Tuesday has died from his injuries.

Plaistow Police said Michael Roy, 21, of Haverhill was traveling north on Route 125 on a 1995 Honda CBR600k and collided with a 2002 Toyota Avalon making a left turn into the Mavis Tire entrance of the Plaistow Center Plaza around 4:50 p.m.. Roy was flown via medical helicopter to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police that speed may have been a factor in the crash. There have been at least 7 motorcycle fatalities in New Hampshire this year, according to the DMV Fatal Crash Unit.

The driver of the Avalon, Veronica Pellegrino, 46, was not injured, according to police.

Plaistow Police asked any witnesses to the crash to call 603-382-1200.

Roy grew up in Bradford was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 2019. He was a varsity baseball player and member of five teams, according to his obituary. He had recently attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando and worked as an alligator education specialist at Gatorland.

Visitation is Sunday at the Driscoll Funeral Home, located at 309 S. Main Street in Haverhill from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m..
