Popular Low-Cost Airline Adding More Direct Flights From Maine
Even though commercial airlines have served Maine for decades, the recent expansion of low-cost airlines has made it even easier to fly from Maine to other parts of the country.
According to WABI, another low-cost carrier has announced additional direct flights to and from Portland.
Breeze Airways will soon offer direct flights from the Portland Jet Port to Columbus, Ohio. Starting on May 7th, these flights will be offered on Mondays and Fridays.
They also announced that they will be offering direct flights between Portland and South Carolina's Greenville-Spartanburg airport. Those flights, which will begin on May 1st, will be offered on Sundays and Thursdays.
Passengers are able to purchase tickets for these new flights now. One-way tickets to Columbus start at $59 and one-way tickets to South Carolina start at $145.
