If you're going to have a restaurant at a small airport, it makes sense to give it an airport theme.

The Limington, Maine Airport has just one runway, but near the end of that runway, sisters Ashely and Samantha opened up "The Kitchen," an airport-themed restaurant that serves up what looks like some amazing food, for breakfast and lunch.

They two are very active on social media, and that's smart. Word is getting out about The Kitchen through their photos and videos and are discovering this little gem in Limington.

You can sit down and enjoy some delicious, homemade meals as you watch small planes land and take off on the nearby runway. It's small airport, so don't expect lots of landings.

The two sisters are only in their 20s and have become quite the entrepreneurs. Opening your own business, running it, and making it successful is not an easy job, but it seems to be working for them.

The food does look amazing and sounds like it's worth the drive to Limington. Or if you happen to be a pilot with your own plane, touchdown at the airport and head on over to The Kitchen.

The Kitchen is at 3 Airport Dr, in Limington, and is open on Tuesdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. They're closed on Mondays.
