Something We've Done at Concerts in New England Could Get Us Sued

Hands down it's something we've all done throughout the years countless times whenever we go to concerts.

Whether it's during our favorite song, or an interlude where the artist is having a conversation with the crowd between songs or in the middle of a song, or just because.

We've all taken out our phones, switched our camera to video, and recorded one or all of the above scenarios.

And on the drive home or once we get home, we post one, multiple, or all of the videos we took to our Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/any social media ever invented.

Bad Bunny Concert

Recently, Bad Bunny made headlines, not just for another sellout tour or randomly appearing/competing at a WWE event, but because of a lawsuit he filed against a fan following one of his shows.

After a Salt Lake City, Utah, performance, YouTuber MADforliveMUSIC -- a page which doesn't exist on YouTube anymore after performing a search -- posted videos of ten songs to YouTube, according to Billboard.

Bad Bunny Sues

After noticing the videos posted to YouTube, Bunny put a request in with YouTube to have them removed from the platform, due to copyright infringement. In response, according to Billboard, the YouTuber protested the removal request, believing he should have the right to post the clips.

In response, Bad Bunny filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber (whose name, according to Billboard, is Eric Guillermo Madroñal Garrone), in order to have the videos removed, which seems to have been successful since the account no longer seems to exist.

With concert season about to kick into full gear in New England, whether you're attending a concert to the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine, BankNH Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire, a venue somewhere in between or even down in Massachusetts...

...you may want to think twice before rolling video during the show. Or, at the very least, keep the video to yourself and avoid posting it on social media to save yourself the risk of a lawsuit.
