This Maine Brewery Is Getting an Upgrade That’s a Massive Pizza Glow-Up
Pizza and beer can be a pretty delicious combo, and if you're in Maine, there are a number of breweries across the state where you can enjoy both.
Maine Beer Company in Freeport, Mason's Brewing Company in Brewer, and Foundation Brewing Company in Portland are just a few of the places in the Pine Tree State where you can indulge in a brew and a slice.
For Flight Deck Brewing in Brunswick, it's giving its pizza game a big upgrade.
Pizza at Flight Deck Brewing in Brunswick, Maine
Flight Deck Brewing in Brunswick, Maine, revealed on its Facebook page that it's making some big changes when it comes to its pizza.
Don't worry. The delicious pizza isn't going away.
Instead, Flight Deck Brewing is getting a massive oven to serve up the local hand-made pies, and ideally, at a much faster pace.
The Facebook post noted the brewery is getting "the BIGGEST wood-fired oven offered by our friends at Maine Wood Heat, and a GIANT new food prep trailer that will allow our pizza team to put out a LOT more pizza and food, FASTER, at the same level of quality we’ve come to expect."
The brewery notes in the post that the oven is so big it doesn't fit in the current pizza space, so they will have to do some construction to accommodate the change.
As of now, Flight Deck expects you'll get pizzas from the new oven in just a couple of weeks.
You can check out the pizza menu here, which includes the likes of the popular Flying Dirty (a pepperoni and hot honey pizza), Green Hornet (a salsa verde pizza), and the Air Boss (a real meat feast pizza).
