According to the cast list on Entertainment Weekly, there are two potential contenders with ties to the area: Justin Pioppi (Massachusetts) and Eva Erickson (Rhode Island).
Can you believe that in 25 years and nearly 50 seasons of the show, there have only been six New England winners?

Over the years, six New Englanders have managed to beat the steep odds and earn themselves the title of "sole survivor."
Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut have had ties with the winners in the following list.
Sadly, there hasn't been a New Hampshire or Vermont winner... yet!

Here are just a few fun facts about the New England winners:
- Sandra Diaz-Twine is one of only two two-time winners of "Survivor."
- As of 2025, Bob Crowley is still the oldest winner of "Survivor." He was 57 when he won.
- "Boston Rob" Mariano is the first player to be on "Survivor" six times and play five times.
- Jeremy Collins is the fourth person to win "Survivor" by a unanimous jury vote.
- Ethan Zohn was the only player on "Survivor: Africa" to never receive an elimination vote.
- Richard Hatch is the first winner of "Survivor."
Thankfully, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Connecticut, and Rhode Island have all been represented at least once by a person on the show, but how long will it be until the next New England winner of "Survivor"?
