The pizza is good at Portland Pie in Bangor, Maine, but that's not the only reason Randy Moss was spotted there.

First off, Randy Moss is a hall-of-fame football player who played for the Vikings (1998-2004, 2010), Oakland Raiders (2005-06), New England Patriots (2007-2010), Tennessee Titans (2010), and the San Francisco 49ers (2012). It was his time with the Patriots that made all of New England love Randy Moss. And here he is, stopping by Portland Pie in Bangor?

Pizza was excellent, man. I’ll be back – Randy Moss

The pizza IS excellent at Bangor's Portland Pie, but why was Randy Moss in Bangor, Maine?

Randy's son Montigo Moss graduated this weekend, and Randy is one proud dad. The Portland Press Herald reported some of Randy's excitement when Montigo (Tigo) made a one-handed catch. On ESPN, he was so excited he couldn't even remember who his son played for:

The University of Maine Bearcats, Black Cats, look at my boy Montigo Moss, number 81, going up there. Villanova, you got Mossed! Montigo, I love you son. Good catch.

Randy Moss will always hold a special place in New England Patriots fans' hearts.

We love this guy, and he loves us. In 2007, Moss set the NFL single-season record for touchdown receptions with 23, helping the Patriots finish the regular season 16-0 while breaking the 1998 Vikings' single-season record for points scored with 589. Moss made two Super Bowl appearances: Super Bowl XLII with the Patriots, and XLVII with the 49ers. He does not have a Super Bowl ring.
