Snow has already fallen and ski mountains and resorts throughout New England are already welcoming visitors eager for some winter fun.
Skiing and snowboarding will be the highlight for many who visit the mountains of Maine and New Hampshire but for those that don't ski or board, there's another option that has gained a ton of popularity in recent years.
Snow tubing.
Once considered a simple backyard activity after a storm has become a major attraction of many mountains in New England.
That includes Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire. Cranmore boasts a 10-lane tubing park that is primed for as many runs down the mountain as you can handle.
For the 2025-2026 season, Cranmore is adding another twist to their tubing adventure.
Cranmore Mountain Resort Debuts 'Arctic Lights' Night Tubing Adventure
Weather permitting, Cranmore Mountain Resort in North Conway, New Hampshire will debut its 'Arctic Lights' night tubing adventure on Friday, December 19.
Arctic Lights is a family-friendly adventure where Cranmore's night tubing park will glow up thanks vibrant LED lights that will dance to a curated playlist of energizing music.
The Arctic Lights adventure will be open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from dusk until 9pm during school vacation and holiday weeks and dusk until 8pm on normal weeks.
Cranmore Mountain Resort Named Among Top 5 Tubing Parks in America
If you've never visited Cranmore for snow tubing, there's a whole bunch of people suggesting you should.
Cranmore Mountain Resort was named among the top 5 best ski tubing parks in America by USA Today and the clear cut top park in New England for 2025.
Besides snow tubing, Cranmore's adventure park also includes a mountain coaster, zip line and giant swing.
