Skiing under the stars is a whole new kind of adventure. Sure, the night air can have a sharper bite, but with the right layers, you'll forget all about the chill and focus on the thrill.

Growing up in North Conway, New Hampshire, which by the way just crowned Best Ski Town in America by USA Today's Reader's Poll, I spent countless nights gliding down Cranmore Mountain. There’s something about the glow of the lights on the slopes that transforms the experience. It’s not just skiing or riding—it’s skiing with a bit of enchantment, a vibe that daytime adventures just can’t match.

Although night skiing isn’t as widespread as many wish it were, a handful of mountains keep the magic alive. Whether you’re squeezing in runs after work, hunting for more affordable lift tickets, or simply craving the unique rush of shredding under the stars, these 11 mountains in Maine and New Hampshire have you covered for night skiing thrills.
