Where You Can Find Spirit Halloween Stores in Maine for 2024

That season has arrived again. The season where you can dress up as a witch, robot, or comic book character and walk around in public without any questions.

Halloween season is upon us, which brings candy to shelves and costumes to stores. But it also brings the reappearance of another seasonal tradition: the opening of Spirit Halloween stores across Maine and the nation to find anything and everything spooky.

As with most years, Spirit Halloween tries to make best use of vacant retail spaces in cities where they can reach the most people. Spirit Halloween is set to have four (potentially five) locations in Maine for 2024. Here's where you can find them.

South Portland

Spirit Halloween will once again be open at the Maine Mall in 2024. But they will be in a different area of the mall than last year. They'll be located directly next to Best Buy in the spot formerly occupied by David's Bridal. Signage indicates the store will be opening soon.

Biddeford

The Spirit Halloween store in Biddeford is open for business. The Biddeford store is often a spot for people from out of state to peel off the highway and grab their costumes and Halloween supplies early. You'll find it next to Michael's at 101 Shops Way.

Auburn

Auburn will once again have a Spirit Halloween store in 2024. Residents of the twin cities will be able to find it at 730 Center Street located next to Jo Ann Fabric. The store is set to open by the end of August.

Bangor

The closest Spirit Halloween location for northern and eastern Maine will be the store at 6 Bangor Mall road in Bangor. It's one of the two Spirit Halloween stores to open early in the state. You can find it next to Bob's Discount Furniture.

Augusta

For several years running, Spirit Halloween has served central Maine with a location in Augusta. As of right now, there does not appear to be a Spirit Halloween store planned for the area. That could change quickly if the right space or terms for a short lease can be arranged. Stay tuned.
