A 'Hocus Pocus' Witches Ball is Happening in Maine This October

When most people think Halloween and movies, they typically think scary. But not all of the Halloween classics over the years are filled with gore. In fact, one of the most popular Halloween cult-classics of al-time is the movie Hocus Pocus.

The movie takes place in New England and follows the story of a coven of hilarious witches who are accidentally resurrected on Halloween night. That sounds like the perfect inspiration for an adults-only party to happen in Maine right around Halloween.

Which is exactly what is going to happen. Inside the gorgeous, rustic TL Barn in West Paris, there will be a 'Hocus Pocus' Witches Ball on Saturday, October 12. It will be an 18+ event that will feature of a ton of different events, speciality cocktails and food.

Some of those events include a costume contest. While the event is a 'Hocus Pocus'-inspired event, dressing like a witch isn't required. Beyond the costume contest, there will an instructional class that evening to teach all interested participants how to do the "Witches Dance".

There will also be music, drumming and dancing throughout the evening. For those feeling a little bit more spiritual during the witches ball, there will be psychic readings on the spot.

The ticket price for the event will also include a selection of heavy appetizers to keep your witches' appetite satisfied. Speaking of tickets, they are available right now. There's a limited amount of space available inside the TL Barn and there's no spell you can caste to get yourself in if tickets sell out.
