3 of the Best Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Pizza Places
If you're like me, sometimes, you get a craving for pizza that just won't go away until it's satisfied.
The problem is Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has so many great pizza shops, it's hard to choose just three, but here they are.
I've got three excellent ones for you to try.
Flatbread Pizza Company, Congress Street
I love Flatbread. It's a local chain with the best, cool, laid back vibe.
Flatbread has a huge pizza oven and you can see your pie being cooked while you are sitting in the dining room, maybe enjoying a cold bevvie while you wait.
With Flatbread, it's all about the freshest ingredients and it truly has something on the menu for every dietary restriction. Vegan? No prob. Gluten Free? They've got you.
I also love the art work. It's like going into a gallery.
The Bratskeller Pizza & Pub, Route 1
Ah, the Brat! Who doesn't love this place?
The Bratskeller is attached to the Dinnerhorn, Seafood Restaurant, so don't get confused if you are looking for it, you're in the right place.
The Brat is a local hang. It's been there for as long as I've been on the seacoast and that's about 30 years.
The beer is cold and the pizza is delicious.

Otto Pizza, 110 Brewery Lane, off of Islington
For this list, for delicious taste, Otto is the one I would choose overall. Their pizza is out of this world good. Just the names alone are going to make your mouth water: Check these out, taken from their menu:
- Butternut Squash, Ricotta and Cranberry
- Mashed potato, bacon and scallion (my 2nd favorite)
- Caramelized pear, blue cheese and arugula
Also, if you want to die and go to heaven, try the Hot Honey, Cup and Char Pepperoni and Goat Cheese. Holy Mama, that is deeeeeelicious. (My first favorite, obvi)
