3 Favorites Out of the 20 Best Mexican Restaurants in New Hampshire

I am not alone when I say that I can eat Mexican food every day.  What's there not to like about it?  Spicy meat, cheese, chips and tortillas should be their own food group that we are required to eat every day.

My 3 Favorite Mexican Restaurants Out of the Best 20 in NH

New Hampshire has so many amazing Mexican restaurants like La Carreta's, Margarita's and Cinco de Mayo.  I'll tell you why these three are my favorites.

La Carreta's in Portsmouth, NH

La Carreta's is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Portsmouth.  There are other locations in other parts of the state as well.  You can go as big on calories as you like here.  Or, if you are watching your weight, get the fajitas.  They are absolutely delicious and you won't feel very guilty.

Margarita's in Portsmouth, NH

Margarita's on Route 1 in Portsmouth will always hold a special place in my heart.  I have spent many hours in the bar in my younger days and they were always very nice to me.  Except for that one girl who wouldn't let me take a nap in the bathroom after a couple margarita's but, I forgive her for pounding on the door until I stumbled out.

Cinco's Cantina, Rochester, NH

Miguel and Crescencio are amazing hosts.  The new location in downtown Rochester is beautiful with colorful furniture that I'm sure they got right from Mexico.  The food is crazy good and the prices won't break the bank.  My Rochester peeps and I hang out there quite often.

Wherever you decide to go, make sure you bring your appetite.  Mexican food is deceivingly filling.  It tastes so good that you just might keep eating it until you get a stomach ache.  Or, until you decide it's a good idea to take a nap in the bathroom.
