Hard to believe that we are already almost at Fair Season here in New England, but it's true.  Get ready with these 5 things you need to know about New Hampshire's Hopkinton Fair.

The fair has been on Labor Day in NH since, 1915, according to the website. It includes agricultural exhibits, food vendors, (so much food!!) games, horse pulls, amusement rides, live music and so much more.

When is the Hopkinton Fair?

The Hopkinton Fair starts on Thursday, August 28 and goes through to Monday, September 1, 2025.

Thursday hours are from 5-10pm, Sat/Sun from 8a - 11pm and Monday from 8a - 5pm.

Where is the Hopkinton Fair?

Okay, obviously, it's in Hopkinton, NH, but where in the state is that?  Parking of the fair is free and it is located in Contoocook!  A-HA!  Not such an obvious question, now is it?  Put this address in your GPS:  905 Park Avenue, Contoocook, NH 03229

How Much Are Tickets?

If you are an adult, tickets are $14 for the day, $12 for Seniors and $8 for Kids 35 months and under.  (not sure how they are going to be able to tell with that type of specificity.)

You can also buy tickets for all 5 days for $39 a piece.  You may need to pay more for the grandstand activities like the demolition derby.

Could the Fair Close Early or Not at All?

Yes, the fair could close early or not open at all.  There *can* be circumstances beyond the control of the organizers like, severe weather.  They don't want to put anyone in danger.

You Can NOT Bring Your Dog

There are no pets allowed at the fair.  They don't cite these reasons, but I would guess that there are too many people and the livestock they have at the fair might be freaked out by your little pit bull, Petunia.
