Chelmsford, Massachusetts Wants To Keep The Beaver

You may have heard of Nibi the Beaver who was rescued last Spring as a baby beaver.  She is living at the Newhouse Wildlife Rescue in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, according to Reddit.com.

THIS IS THE CUTEST VIDEO YOU WILL EVER SEE!  👇👇👇

MassWildlife had told the Newhouse Wildlife Rescue that Nibi had to be returned to the wild.  Nibi's "people" at the rescue center fought the law and they won!

Nibi will not be taken into the wild... yet.  As of now, it is not known if they will ever have to surrender her or not.

It was the wish of the Newhouse Wildlife Rescue to keep Nibi as an educational animal to teach people about beavers and their habitats.

They are due in court and this story will be updated as we get more information.

Nibi, from the time that the Wildlife Center got her, has been a hit on social media.

I mean, who can resist a beaver making a Christmas dam?  Have you ever seen anything so flippin' cute in your life?

According to a story from CBS News Boston, MassWildlife said that it was time for Nibi to return to nature, however, no one had been to the Center to evaluate her.  As you can clearly see from the videos, she loves her humans.

Nibi, from the time that she was rescued, didn't want anything to do with the other little rescued beavers.  The staff at the rescue center tried to get her back to her normal wild self, but Nibi wasn't having it.  It was the opinion of her care-takers that she would not be able to make it on her own... yet.

The Rescue Center had asked to have until the Spring and it seems that maybe that request has been granted.

Let's hope she gets to stay at the rescue forever.  I mean, c'mon, man.  You haven't seen anything this cute in the past .... 5 years, I'm willing to bet.
