It was a few years back when I heard about the Break Room.  I thought it was kind of a silly idea, but then friends of mine went and they LOVED it.  They said the feeling of liberation was incredible.  They got out all their frustrations and swore they would come back again and again.

These type of "rage rooms" are all over the country.  This is a similar place in Chicago.

Here's what the Break Room in Manchester says on their website:

While a lot of places flaunt breaking things out of fury and rampage, we're a place that values the feeling after - the therapeutic euphoria of what it is to express an intense energy physically. For everything from coming in on a lunch break, to full on parties and corporate events, we can take care of stress relief of all sizes.

Wanna Quit Your Job?  Don't.  Just Get Out Your Frustrations in Manchester, NH

What a brilliant idea.  The Break Room offers a service called, "The Rage Quit."  For $50, you get to gear up, get trained and smash whatever you like.  Rage Quit until your hearts content and still keep your job because... you need the money. If you want to scream at the same time, you absolutely can.  What fun would it be if you had to stay quiet?  Scream, smash, bang!  There, there... get it all out.

There are lots of rules that you have to follow, of course.  You can't hit each other or throw things at one another.  Also, you have to sign a waiver.  If you get hurt, they don't want to take responsibility for something that you signed up for willingly.  Fair.
