New Hampshire could not be more proud!

Congratulations to Bobby Marcotte, chef, owner and partner of not just one, but FOUR New Hampshire restaurants:

About a week or so ago, Bobby posted on his Facebook page that he had a dream to be named the Top Restauranteur of the Year from Stars of the Industry.

Bobby's competition was two other New Hampshire Chefs:

Bobby put out the word to his incredibly loyal customers, of which I am one, and he got the title.  If I'm guessing, and in fact I am, I would say that this contest wasn't even close.

People LOVE Bobby's food for a couple of reasons.

The first one, of course, being that everything I've put in my face that Bobby made is delicious and everyone I know agrees.

The second one, I would say, is because he works his ass off.  Where do you think his hashtag #alwaysgrindin came from?  When I am at the Tuckaway Tavern either eating dinner or picking up something from the market, many times I will see Bobby in and out of the back of the house running from here to there.

Guy Fieri Loves This New Hampshire Chef

Bobby is, at this point, friends with Guy Fieri.  Ever since Guy tried his food on his show Diners, Drive-In's and Dives on the Food Channel in 2016, the two have been in touch.  Bobby has been a repeat guest on his show ever since.

Congratulations, Bobby.  I think you should have a sale on house-marinated steak tips as a celebration from now until the end of the year, but that's just my suggestion.  $9.99 per pound sound okay?
