A New Hampshire College Town Was Just Ranked One of the Best in America
New Hampshire is known for it's beauty, scenery and now, one of the best college towns in the entire country.
If you went to college here in New Hampshire at one of our three State schools, Keene State College, (my alma mater) Plymouth State University and University of New Hampshire in Durham.
Let us not forget the beautiful campus of Dartmouth University in Hanover, New Hampshire. According to farandwide.com, Hanover was named one of the best College towns in America.
Hanover, New Hampshire is Stunning
Hanover is located in the Upper Valley region of the state, not far from the Vermont border. The campus is stunning and the town of Hanover is as diverse and as hip as you would expect it to be.
The population of the town is under 9,000, so it is definitely a small community rich with local coffee shops and trendy shops.
Farandwide.com describes the town like this:
If the likes of Dartmouth College alumni such as Nelson Rockefeller and Robert Frost can call Hanover home for a spell, then surely the town caters to those with distinguished tastes.
Even if you are not a student at the College, it has so much to offer the general public. For example, the Hood Museum of Art offers people world class creations from some of the most famous artists in the world

Later this year, there is a Monet exhibit entitled, "Reimagining the French Landscape." Definitely worth a drive to the Upper Valley for this one.
