Sneak Peek Into New Restaurant Opening November 15 in East Rochester, New Hampshire
Somersworth, New Hampshire
New businesses in New Hampshire, especially new restaurants, are particularly exciting, so I had to jump on the phone with the owner and find out when this place is opening.
Steven Fleming has been the owner of Buster's Billiards in Somersworth, New Hampshire, with his partner for about 35 years, he told me. Now, because of sad health circumstances with Steven's partner, he is moving ahead alone to a new place in East Rochester.
Barring any snags with approvals, etc., The Eastside Tavern and Buster's Billiards are set to open on November 15, 2024, at 43 Highland Street in East Rochester, New Hampshire.
Steven purchased the old VFW in East Rochester and is starting from scratch with a new place. Seating at the new restaurant will be 250 plus. It is a very large space.
Steven told me that the place will have 10 diamond tables, which are top of the line, according to him. It will also have 20 TVs with a 150" projector for all the sports, all of them.
When I was on the phone with him, Steven got a visit from one of his beer distributors. He is getting a delivery on the 13th of November, and barring any snags with inspections, he will open his doors on November 15.
Sneak Peek at the Menu
Steven told me there will be 12 beers on tap and any other kind you want available. There is a full bar with liquor and wine as well.
The menu is ALL HOUSE-MADE. Steven emphasized that. He said it's going to be as close to farm-to-table as you can possibly get.
Here's a sneak peek at just a few of their menu items:
- Boneless wings with homemade sauces
- House-made Chili
- House-made Pate with pork, beef, diced onions and dijon mustard
- Cheese board with house-made sausage, crackers and grilled bread
- Jumbo Meatball
- Variety of Salads
- Schnitzel Reuben which is a pork cutlet, deep fried with slicked ham, house made sauerkraut on grilled rye
That's just a few of the items on the menu.
The Eastside Tavern and Buster's Billiards hours are: Sun - Wed, 11a - 11p, Thursday - Saturday, 11a - 1am.
Thursday night is Ladies night with a DJ and line dancing
Friday and Saturday night, they will have live bands.
Sounds like a fun place, and we wish you the best!
