Meet Massimo Morgia: The Heart Behind the Restaurant
Massimo's is named after the owner, Massimo Morgia, according to their website. He was born in Italy and started working in restaurants at the age of 13. Serving good food to you is his favorite thing.
The food as Massimo's is authentic Italian. My brother, who is a chef, says that if you want to know how good an Italian restaurant is, just try their meatballs. I can tell you, it's the first thing I order with a glass of wine and they are excellent.
Savoring the Experience: Must-Try Dishes at Massimo’s
After the balls and wine, I'll usually order the mushroom pasta that has a fancy name, but they'll know what you are talking about, even if you just say, "I'll have the mushroom pasta."
Then, I order the Halibut with eggplant. Oh my mercy, that is delish. Two thumbs up.
Wine Wonder: Elevate Your Dining Experience
The best thing about Massimo's for me is the aforementioned wine. It's not often that you go into a place that has a great wine list and people who actually know about wine. I can't tell you how many times I've gone into a restaurant and the server gives me a deer in the headlights look when I ask for a really dry red, preferably a lighter bouquet. (to be fair, I'm not even sure what that means.)
