There are many things that New Englanders are proud of, from the beautiful landscapes at the top of Mount Washington to the beaches of P-town, Massachusetts.

It almost feels like we have it all here.

And the New England positives keep on coming, with the latest news of these New Hampshire hospitals being named two of the best in the country.

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital - Mass General Brigham

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire, was ranked 180th on a list compiled by Newsweek of the top 250 hospitals in the United States.

There are over 6,120 hospitals in the country, according to aha.org.  I'd say that's not bad!

According to the hospital's website, "Wentworth-Douglass Hospital was conceived as a 30-bed hospital on March 15, 1904." And now look at what it's become today!

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire, actually ranks higher on the Newsweek list, just missing the top 100, coming in at 106.

And here's another big award for them: US News & World Report ranked Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center as the #1 hospital in New Hampshire.

Did you know that the medical center wasn't originally in Lebanon? According to the hospital's website, it moved from Hanover to its new location in 1991.

I consider myself really lucky that I live in such a beautiful part of the country, and a state that has some great places to go for health issues.

Have you been to either of these hospitals?
