Winter sports are awesome! I think we can all agree on that. If you are going to call New England home, it makes sense to embrace some kind of outdoor Winter activity so you don't dread the cold weather. It's coming whether we like it or not.

I used to be more of a sit in the lodge and read kind of girlie. But during the pandemic I really craved being outside (probably because we were stuck inside for so long) and I found out I really love breathing that fresh mountain air. Was I wiped out on the mountain for the majority of the day? You bet! But did I still have fun and feel like I earned my glass(es) of wine at the end of the day? Absolutely!

The downfall of Winter sports is they can get so darn expensive, especially if you have a big family. Between the gear, accommodations, lift tickets, lessons, it's simply not feasible for a lot of families. That's why I absolutely love what King Pine Ski area in Madison, New Hampshire is doing.

Typically an adult King Pine Ski area lift ticket would set you back $82 on weekends and holidays and $55 midweek. On December 19th to commemorate their Founder's Day, lift tickets will only be $4! That's  less than the price of a latte! (tickets must be purchased online in advance)

if you cant make it on December 19th they are doing ski and stay packages through a certain window of time where if you stay at the slopeside Purity Spring Resort can score two free lift tickets per day during a limited-time. More details here.

Will you be hitting the slopes this Winter? What is your favorite New England mountain to ski?
