What better reward than some New Hampshire ice cream after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding?

Adam Sandler, who officiated the big ceremony in New York, was spotted at Sawyer's on the Pier, a seasonal outpost of Sawyer's on Lake Winnipesaukee in Laconia that serves homemade ice cream.

In a Facebook post from Sawyer's Dairy Bar, the Granite State spot shared that Sandler, who recently starred in "Happy Gilmore 2," stopped in at Sawyer's on the Pier on July 4 for some ice cream.

That's just a day after he officiated the Swift and Kelce wedding at Madison Square Garden. (That also means he probably missed out on the fireworks at Weirs Beach that night but definitely enjoyed the "fireworks" of the wedding.)

The social media post highlighted a series of selfie photos, all taken by Sandler, with the "Uncut Gems" star and a bunch of staff members from Sawyer's. It looks like they were having a fun time joking around and posing for the camera.

Like the post says, it was definitely a "Fourth of July [they] will never forget."

While Sandler was born in Brooklyn, New York, he grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire, establishing real roots in the Granite State.

And that connection has lasted even with his Hollywood fame, as the "Grown Ups" actor continues to make appearances in New Hampshire now and again.

And every time the response from locals reiterates him being a friendly, down-to-earth, nice guy.

He definitely seems like the type of guy you could enjoy grabbing a beer with... or maybe an ice cream.

Sandler's ice cream run really says everything about who he still is: a guy who officiated one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year, then went to New Hampshire the next day like it was no big deal.
