Tacos are my favorite food group.

Like… if someone says tacos, I’ll start running like it’s last call and the taco truck just turned the lights back on.

No questions. No hesitation. I’m already in the car.

Ever since moving to New Hampshire, I keep hearing the same thing from just about everyone I meet... “You’ve gotta try this place.”

I will say... I went to Cinco's Cantina on Central Ave in Dover for the first time last week. Quesa Birria taco's and the margarita were on point. Soooo good.

So instead of guessing where to go first, I figured… let’s see what you are actually saying. I ask on Facebook to name your favorite and here's what everyone gave me. See if you agree.

Rico's Burrito's Food Truck received the most mentions. Their food looks fire on their Facebook page. Creamy Chipotle Taco's, Yes please. Can you come to the office please?

Flaco's Cantina in Plaistow got the second most mentions.  The Tacos Gobernador looks amazing.

I also went digging through the internet and Tripadvisor consistently ranks these among the top taco spots in the area.

Casamigo's (Concord and Tilton)

So if you’re like me—and tacos are less of a meal and more of a personality trait—
here are a few places in New Hampshire that might just be worth the drive.

Surf Restaurant (Portsmouth)

If you’re anywhere near Portsmouth, this one comes up a lot. It’s not your traditional hole-in-the-wall taco joint—it leans more coastal—but that’s kind of the point. Think fresh seafood tacos, a little more elevated, and a spot that feels like a night out.

If you want tacos + vibe, this is your place.

Lupe's 55 Cantina (Hampton Beach)

This one feels like it belongs near the ocean.

Lupe’s shows up as one of the top taco spots in the Hampton area, and it makes sense—this is the kind of place where you grab tacos after a beach day and maybe stay longer than you planned.

It’s consistently rated highly among taco options in Hampton, especially if you’re looking for something casual but legit.

Beach tacos just hit different.

El Rincon Zacatecano Taqueria (Manchester)

If you want something that feels a little more authentic… this is the one that keeps coming up—not just on Tripadvisor, but from locals too.

It ranks among the top taco spots in Manchester, and it’s one of those places people get weirdly passionate about once they’ve been.

Even in local discussions, people call out the street tacos here as a must-try.

This is the “don’t judge it—just go” taco stop.

This is where it gets fun. Because I know we’re just scratching the surface here. Is there a hidden gem I need to try? Message me in the station app.

Food truck? Random roadside spot? That place your coworker swears by?

A taco tour of New Hampshire sounds like a pretty solid life decision right now.
