People are creative, that's for sure, but the person who invented soft serve mimosas and soft serve margaritas ought to get some sort of award.  They do exist and you can get them at these 2 Boston restaurants.

 

This Boston Chef Grew up Watching Julia Child and Yan Can Cook

Jason Santos is the owner of Citrus & Salt in Boston, according to WCVB in Boston.  He has loved to cook since the day he was born.  He remembers watching Julia Child and Yan Can Cook on the television when he was growing up in Melrose and got the "bug."

You will find a Soft Serve Mimosa on the menu here which is the daily sorbet and prosecco.  I called the restaurant to confirm that they also have soft serve Margaritas.

 

This Boston Chef Brings New Orleans and Soft Serve to His Fun Food Menu

As it turns out, Buttermilk and Bourbon in the Back Bay in Boston has the same chef, Jason Santos.  His fun food menu not only includes soft serve mimosas with prosecco, but regular soft serve ice cream served on a pretzel cone.

 

I don't know how they made these drinks because I didn't think that alcohol could freeze.  I only know this because, in college, I thought it would be fun to make alcohol ice cubes.  It didn't work for me.  I'm sure Chef Santos would say that it's all in the recipe.  Let's go!
