Derry, New Hampshire Planning Board Approves New Restaurant Owned by Tuckaway Tavern Chef
How exciting for the Town of Derry, New Hampshire!
Bobby Marcotte, the owner of several restaurants here in New Hampshire and chef at the Tuckaway Tavern in Raymond, just got approval from the Town of Derry to open up another location where customers can get Bobby's delicious food.
Rumors Have Been Around for Years About This New Location
I want to say it's been at least a year or more that we've heard rumors of another Tuckaway Tavern in Derry, but there hasn't been any movement for a long time.
According to Bobby's Facebook post, this location will be the Grindhouse Meat Co.
Grindhouse Meat Company Established in 2019
There was one singular focus when they opened in 2019, meat. It's not clear from the information I have now, whether this place will be an expanded version of what is described on their website, but from what that says, Bobby will offer his creations;
....in limited quantities and shipped fresh, NEVER FROZEN, right to your door to enjoy right at home!
This isn't the only bit of exciting news that we received this week about Bobby and his culinary expertise. He competed in Guy Fieri's DDD Legends Tournament and chalked up one win so far!
New Hampshire is So Proud
I've said it before, I'll say it again, New Hampshire could not be more proud of Bobby. He is one of the hardest working guys in all of New England; how could he not be with all the restaurants that he runs.
Bobby also has a beautiful family, including his wife and two young children. His family also includes his daughter Alanna Marcotte who passed away from cancer when she was only 13 years old.
Bobby and his team keeps Alanna's memory alive by creating events like the annual Motorcycle ride to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. #peacelovealanna
All the best, Bobby! Derry is in for a treat!
