Greek Dessert from the Mall of New Hampshire Lives up to All the Hype

I have always loved a mall food court! Give me a slice of Sbarro's Pizza and an Auntie Anne's cinnamon sugar pretzel and let's watch the cute boys walk out of Pacsun, shall we? Sorry, I thought it was 2004 for a second.

But in all honesty, the aromas and vibes of a mall food court provide nostalgic, positive feelings for me.

I have been hearing about a certain dessert spot at the Mall of New Hampshire in Manchester. It might be enough for you to ditch your Amazon order and go shop in real life again. Let's face it, we could all get a few more steps in, right?

:LoukouMadness is all the buzz at the dining pavilion at the Mall of New Hampshire.

They offer a delicious twist on the Greek dessert Loukoumades. Wondering what a Loukoumade is? Let's start there.

What is a Loukoumade? 

Simply put, loukoumades are Greek donuts made with honey and walnuts.

To me, they look almost look like high end glazed munchkins from Dunkin'. (please don't come for me)

What is the 'Twist' LoukouMadness speaks of?

According to their website, these little fried dough beauties are offered with a variety of delicious toppings and fillings. From classic honey and cinnamon to chocolate sauce and whipped cream and beyond!

Christina Anger posted on New Hampshire Eats recently that she went to go see what all the hype was about. First off she was greeted with a warm "hello" (we love that) She was offered a sample and as she is tasting what she referred to as a " pillow of goodness" she receive an explanation of how these delectable treats are made. She ended up with a large pack with hazelnut, caramel, and Twix pieces.

Mike Hammersmith on New Hampshire Eats tried it back in June when they first opened. He had stuffed Loukou with Bavarian Cream with white and dark chocolate sauce. He said he wanted to take a picture but he was too busy having an out of body experience. I LOVE THAT FOR HIM!
