There is nothing like a great Italian Sub, am I right? As a Granite Stater, my heart beats for Moe's Italian Subs, specifically the Mad Sicilian. I am a sucker for smoked meats paired with hot pepper relish sitting pretty atop an Italian Sub Roll. It was the first thing I ate after giving birth to my daughter. I requested an Italian sub be delivered to my hospital room; NO LIE!

Because I am so loyal to Moe's, I have yet to stray to other sub shops but it is tough to ignore the hype around Jersey Mike's. They seem to be popping up everywhere and now have six locations in New Hampshire: Seabrook, Exeter, Portsmouth, Epping, Somersworth, Manchester and Concord.

Having the great Danny Devito as their spokesperson may be the most genius marketing move I have ever seen. According to Danny in this ad, "they slice the meat right in front of ya!"

On the Facebook Group Life in the Lilac City, someone posted "I hear Jersey Mikes is coming to the Ridge on Route 11" The post got tons of attention and the people of Rochester spoke their truth in the comments.

Most people were very excited and tagged their Jersey Mike's loving friends to share the news. Others said that Jersey Mike's will never compete with a Market Basket sub. Apparently their deli sandwiches are delicious and a real bang for your buck, I'm talking $5.99! Some commenters expressed that they would love to see a local mom and pop sub shop open in that location rather than a franchise.

No matter how you feel about Jersey Mike's coming to The Ridge in Rochester, according to the Jersey Mikes official website, it's happening!
