Having unlimited information in the palm of your hand is a scary...and awesome...power.

But I did not get a restaurant in the Google search. Instead, I found a story of the largest pancake known to be created in New England...and it was massive.

In 1984, a 20-foot-wide pancake was made in Vermont. For reference, that is the same size as a traditional school bus. The 20-foot-wide pancake was larger than a Giraffe is tall.

What is more impressive than the 20-foot-wide pancake is what went into creating such a massive flapjack.

According to a UPI article, 800 pounds of pancake mix and 100 gallons of milk were used to make the monster pancake.

A crane was used to cover the pancake, and a helicopter was used to flip it - how cool!

After many of the 500 spectators had eaten a little, the leftovers were given to local cows.
