We're so lucky to live in a place where people visit for vacation! The place that people flock to in order to unwind and become the best version of themselves, is right here by the ocean in New England. Many celebrities retreat to New England when they need a break from the Hollywood hustle and bustle and we can't blame them! And It turns out: celebrities, they are just like us!

They want to find the best asiago bagel for breakfast. They want to find the most bang for their buck lobster roll. They want to dine at the restaurant with the shortest wait and the best waterfront view.

Well, maybe if you are a celebrity you don't have to wait for a table. That is probably one of the perks. Except for the time the hostess at IHOP didn't recognize Adam Sandler and told him it would be a 30 minute wait for pancakes so he left. Never forget.

They would never do that to you at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester, San Man! Just sayin'.

Over Labor Day Weekend, a local smoothie shop was graced by none other than New England royalty, Cambridge Massachusetts' own Matt Damon.

Anyone who has ever come into contact with Matt Damon has the nicest things to say about him. He is a down to earth guy who never forgot where he came from and treats people with humility and respect. He has given us some of the best movies of all time, such as Good Will Hunting:

Dang, that scene always gives me chills.

The Hollywood A-lister popped into the Kittery, Maine, location of The Juicery and was kind enough to take some photos with the staff:

At 53 years young, the actor is looking as strong as ever! I would say the smoothies are doing their job.

My sources at the Juicery told me that Matt and his family took a nice scenic bike ride to Kittery Foreside. He was a big fan of their Life Blood juice which according to The Juicery menu is beet, apple, carrot, ginger, and lemon. How refreshing.

Thanks for visiting our neck of the woods and being so kind, Mr. Damon! Come back anytime.
