New Hampshire Restaurant Tucker’s Sets New Location Opening Date, Temporarily Closing Dover Spot

Good news for the New Hampshire restaurant scene in a time when we hear about so many closings.  Now, one of our favorites is opening a new location in Newington while they temporarily close the Dover location.

Tucker's Good Eats Announces Opening Day for Newington Location

Exciting times for fans of Tucker's Good Eats.  We now have an open date for their new location at 2028 Woodbury Avenue in Newington, the former IHOP location.

As they announced on their Facebook page, the Newington location will open on October 1, 2025, pending all the inspections go well.  Also announced was the temporary closing of the Dover location.

Tucker's Dover Location is Temporarily Closing

Before you get sad about Tucker's Dover location closing, you have to know why.  They are doing some needed renovations like - a new roof, a new HVAC system, new kitchen floors and new bathrooms. While they are closed the Dover staff will train the Newington staff.  Wicked smart plan.  You can visit the Dover location until Sunday, September 28, 2025.

Tucker's Good Eats has several locations in New Hampshire besides the Dover and Newington places in Bedford, Concord, Hooksett, Merrimack and New London.  At every location, I'm assuming you get the same great food.  I've been to the Dover and Bedford spots and that was my experience when I ordered the Tucker Time breakfast classic.

Another reason I really love this place is they are open 7 days a week.  Some restaurants are closed on Mondays and I totally get that, but my husband is a working musician who works on the weekends, so Mondays are date nights sometimes when he can convince me to get off the couch.
