This is certainly not a hot take, but the cost of college is not getting any lower.

Many students find themselves working multiple jobs or taking on a ridiculous amount of debt to fund their education.

It's enough to deter people from seeking a higher education in the first place.

Of course, college is not the path for everyone. Plenty of people go on to have highly successful careers without a higher education, but it's nice to have the option and not feel like you are financially exempt.

In response to these financial challenges, several states have introduced initiatives aimed at making college more accessible.

New Hampshire is one of those states, and we love to see it!

Saint Anselm College is a liberal arts college located in Goffstown, New Hampshire, and they just announced that will be offering free in-state tuition for students who meet certain qualifications.

According to WMUR, those qualifications are students must be New Hampshire residents, first-year college students, live on campus, have a high school GPA of 3.25 or higher and have a family income of $100,000 or less.

The article goes on to explain that students must continue to meet these requirements throughout their four-year schooling for a degree to maintain the free tuition. The grant is not eligible for transfer students.

The president of Saint Anselm College, Dr. Joseph Favazza, made a statement about how so many young people leave the state of New Hampshire to attend college and this a great way to keep them in the state.

Do you know anyone who will be taking advantage of this opportunity?
