
Snowfall on Mount Washington, New Hampshire is Not Normal Right Now
Not long ago, Mount Washington got its first snowfall of the season, coming in at 1.6 inches, but experts are saying 'big deal,' this isn't normal October weather.

We just found out over the weekend about 20 people who had to be rescued from Mount Washington because they were ill-prepared, according to boston.com. Some of the people were hypothermic, without any gear and had no idea that services would be unavailable.
20 Hikers Could Have Been in Worse Conditions
If Mount Washington had a typical October, things may have been even more serious for the 20 people who were recently rescued.
Typical snowfall for Mount Washington in October is 19", according to powder.com. The average temperature on the Mountain is 31.3 Fahrenheit in October, which is a few degrees colder than what the temperature is now.
When Will New Hampshire Get More Snow on Mount Washington?
The long range forecast, according to powder.com, says that things will turn around in the Northeast, but it doesn't say when. Snowfall totals will be above average and the temperature will be below average.
Mother Nature will do whatever she wants to do, if you ask me, without your wants or desires.
