Here’s Where to Find The Most ‘Boring’ Tourist Trap in New Hampshire
Some tourist traps are tourist traps for a reason; Because they are awesome. But there is nothing like making the pilgrimage somewhere, paying for parking, waiting in line, going through the whole rigmarole, only to learn that this destination did not live up to the hype.
I have felt that way on a few different occasions. One of them being when I took a field trip in middle school to see Plymouth Rock. Not to undermine it's significance to our country and it's history but that rock is small and underwhelming.

On the other end of the spectrum there are tourist traps that are totally worth seeing at least once. I think the statue of liberty is one of those things. Sure, it's always mobbed with people but you have to go pay a visit to our lady liberty at least once just to say you did it!
Travel site Far & Wide decided to put together a comprehensive list of the most 'boring' tourist traps you can find in every state across the country. Some of their choices are completely valid!
What is the most boring tourist trap in New Hampshire?
I don't love when publications trash aspects of our fine state of New Hampshire. However, I can't defend this one because admittedly, I have never been. Far and Wide isn't a fan of the Mercury Redstone Rocket Replica in Concord.
What makes the Mercury Redstone Rocket Replica so boring?
Their argument is that if you just drive an hour north to Warren, you can see the actual Mercury Redstone Rocket, which is the first vessel to carry Americans into space. This makes going to see a replica feel like a big fat waste of time.
TAK1Westminster on Yelp said
"We entered the building, expecting a decent science and space exhibit. As we walked through, we kept thinking that there must be more, but there was not. It was dull, uninteresting, (and I am really interested in space) and a complete waste of money. I would never go again, or recommend it to anyone, I wanted to ask for a refund, but decided to just let it go."
That's pretty brutal. Have you visited the Mercury Redstone Rocket Replica? Do you agree that it is an absolute snorefest?
