Warmer days are finally here, friends.

The world is sunny and colorful again. Flowers are in bloom, leaves are growing on the trees, temperatures are rising, and summer will be on the doorstep before you know it.

As you start making seasonal plans for the coming months, you've probably thought of visiting New England's countless amusement and water parks, like Canobie Lake ParkSix Flags New England, and Funtown Splashtown. But no summer would be complete without a trip to Water Country.

Most people who grew up in the area have fond memories of the 26-acre park, home to 10+ water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and other fun attractions. And now, an exciting part of the park's next chapter has been revealed.

Water Country recently announced their brand-new mascot, a moose, who's ready to "make a splash and steal your hearts!" The trouble was, he needed a name.

And that's where you came in.

The park let the public vote on whether to name the moose Max, Manny, or Spruce. And now, they've shared which one officially came out on top.

Everyone hello to Spruce, the official new mascot of Water Country.

According to the above Facebook post, you can say hello to Spruce when Water Country opens its gates for the 2024 season this weekend, June 1, 2024.
