A leadership summit called From Insight to Impact: Bridging People & Purpose is taking place this October in Portsmouth.
This is the second annual summit from Leadership Seacoast.
What is the Leadership Seacoast Summit in Portsmouth, New Hampshire?
According to a press release, this year's leadership summit is "designed to connect change-makers, community leaders, and engaged citizens across the Seacoast region, offering an inspiring mix of conversations, networking, and collaboration with local nonprofits and mission-driven organizations."
It's all about bringing people and local organizations together to make a real difference in the Seacoast.
You can hear from local leaders such as Portsmouth Mayor Deaglan McEachern, Jermaine Moore of The Mars Hill Group, and Mary Johanna Brown of Brown & Company Design.
But the summit isn’t just for listening. Over 25 nonprofits will be there throughout the day, offering hands-on ways to get involved, from volunteering to board participation, and panel discussions that will dive into topics such as collective impact and creating change that lasts.
Lori Waltz, executive director of Leadership Seacoast, said, “With so many nonprofit organizations in our region seeking volunteers, board members, and supporters, the Leadership Summit provides an intentional space to bring these mission-driven organizations together with engaged citizens. We look forward to fostering connections that strengthen our communities and advance lasting impact.”

The leadership summit, From Insight to Impact: Bridging People & Purpose, is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, October 16, at Jimmy's Jazz Club in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
