Books such as Marie Kondo’s "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" have caused many of us to reevaluate the possessions that make our house a home. Sometimes it is difficult to draw a line between needs and wants.

Dover Public Library is partnering with AARP NH on Tuesday, April 6, at 6:30 p.m. for a free virtual presentation called Downsize and Declutter.

The program addresses our emotional connection with “stuff” and offers participants sensible techniques to downsize and declutter the spaces we spend time in, including our homes, vehicles, and offices.

Although the presentation is sponsored by AARP, the information is not geared toward any specific age group. Dover librarian Susan Dunker encourages anyone who is interested in learning these sensible methods to attend.

“It’s a great spring-cleaning motivator!”

Registration is required to receive a link to the program. To sign up, visit here.
