You would think that this would be an April Fool's Day joke, however, a Maine resident posted on the Private Facebook group Cumberland County Yard Sale Site two days before April Fools Day.

Have you ever wanted to travel back in time, destination unknown? Well, maybe this Maine resident, Jay, has the answer to something that scientists have been unable to discover...time travel.

Jay starts off this post with "Attention all adventure seekers and history buffs! I am looking for a trustworthy and open-minded individual to accompany me on a journey through time."

If you think just anyone can take this exploration through time, then you would be wrong. Of course, Jay listed some requirements that the individual that wants to travel with them needs to have.

So, what are these requirements?

Well, you'd have to be okay with travelling through different ears and timelines and be comfortable with "uncertainty and unpredictability. Just like any job, you also have to be a good problem solver and have critical thinking skills. Lastly, if you want to travel through time, Jay writes that you must have a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.

Other than requirements, Jay lists preferred experience. Obviously, prior time travel experience is preferred but not required, as well as, knowledge of historical events and cultures is a bonus.

Jay continues the post talking about compensation. They state that all expenses related to time travel will be covered, the individual will have the opportunity to witness historical events firsthand, and be able to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

If you ever wanted to time travel, it seems like Jay is your person to do it with, however, you will have some work to do prior to adventuring through time.

If you think that you have what it takes, you will need to contact Jay and send them a resume, as well as a brief explanation of why you would make the perfect travel companion.

I guess all I can ask is that you don't mess too much up for the current time.

Again, this feels like a joke right? Maybe Jay meant to post it on April 1st, but went back in time and ended up posting it two days prior.

Of course, the comments on this post is blowing up and some even say that this post was taken right from the movie "Safety Not Guaranteed."

However, looking closer at the movie, the wording is completely different. In the film, a man posts an ad that reads "*WANTED* Someone to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before."

Granted it is pretty much the same concept, Jay never states that they've actually done this before, that it is a joke, or even for you to bring your own weapons.

I mean when you think about it, wouldn't all time travel searches seem about the same?
