It's not the jackpot, but a ticket worth one million dollars for Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing was sold in New Hampshire.

The million dollar ticket matched the five white balls drawn: 2, 31, 32, 37 and 70. The gold Mega Ball was 25. Winning tickets were also sold in Arizona, California, and North Carolina.

New Hampshire Lottery spokeswoman Maura McCann told Seacoast Current the ticket was sold at the state Liquor and Wine Outlet at the Portsmouth traffic circle.

It's the first Powerball or Mega Millions ticket worth at least $1 million that's been sold in New Hampshire this year.  A Mega Millions ticket worth $3 million was sold in Maine for the January 7 drawing.

New Hampshire players won smaller prizes of at least $1 million six times in 2021 playing Powerball and sister game Mega Millions.

The Mega Millions jackpot went without a winner for the 27th drawing in a row, and grows to
an annuity value of $630 million ($359.7 million cash) for Friday night, the fifth largest in the game’s history. No one has won a Mega Millions jackpot since April 15, when a winning ticket was sold in Tennessee.
