New Hampshire proved to be lucky again as a MegaMillions ticket worth $1 million was sold for Tuesday night's drawing.

The winning numbers were: 3, 6, 16, 38 and 56. The ticket did not match the Mega Ball number of 24.

NH Lottery spokeswoman Maura McCann told Seacoast Current the player purchased their ticket via their iLottery account.

"Now we wait for the prize claim to be made but they are sure going to have a great day," McCann said.

It was the seventh ticket worth more than a million dollars sold in New Hampshire in 2021. The others were Powerball tickets.

The most recent winning ticket was sold July 24 at the Cabot Street Market on Cabot Street in Portsmouth.

Two Powerball tickets worth one million each were played in New Hampshire for the drawing of July 10. One was sold at Winners Corner on Mast Road in Manchester while the other ticket that included a Power Play was played on the NH iLottery platform.

The others were sold a $2 million ticket for the January 16 drawing at Gomarlos in  Swanzey, another for $2 million at Sun Mart in Milford for January 23, and a ticket worth $1 million at Hampstead Variety in Hampstead was sold for May 22

The MegaMillions jackpot was not won and climbs to an annuity value of $256 million ($185.6 million cash) for its next drawing on Friday. Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot has an annuity value of $274 million ($197.7 million cash).
