Even though it is still choosing to snow in New England, Dairy Queen locations are open and reminding us that Spring is coming soon. Yes, right now we have the ability to eat a blizzard in a blizzard, and honestly, I am not mad about it!

However, do you know what one of my favorite words is? You probably don't, so let me tell you, it's "free." I mean come on who doesn't love free things, especially free food?

What if I told you that you can soon be able to get a free cone at your local Dairy Queen?

Yes, you read that right! You can get a FREE ice cream cone for one day only at a DQ near you.

Forget about the winter and the snow because Spring is coming up fast, on March 20th to be exact and Dairy Queen is ready to help you celebrate.

According to Dairy Queen's website, select locations will be celebrating the first day of Spring with free cone day. All you have to do is show up to your local DQ and place the order!

It is important to note that you can only get vanilla, so, if you were hoping for another flavor, you will have to pull out your wallet. As I mentioned, free cone day will be happening at select locations and unfortunately, it does not include locations that are in a mall.

You might not wait to wait all day to go get your free cone on March 20th, as DQ will only be giving them out while supplies last. Also, do not expect to walk out with your hands full of free ice cream, there is a limit of one per person.

I mean yes, it would be amazing to get a ton of free ice cream, but one delicious vanilla cone sounds just as good. Let's be honest, free is never a bad thing.
