Whether you're a true, distinguished, and refined gourmet foodie or more like me with a few bits of food snobbery like for instance I only buy name brand items at the grocery store and have a hard time eating at a national chain, fast food is on an entirely different level. A much lower one but still part of American dietary fabric and landscape.

I've met very few people who say they never ever feel the craving for some fast food, from burgers to pizza.  I mean we love the convenient, relatively quick, easy-to-order familiarity of them.

So let's do this.  According to Cash Net USA, these are New England's most beloved fast food restaurants and those we're not a fan off at all when it comes to burgers, chicken, Mexican, and pizza.

New Hampshire

Granite Stater's voted Dominoes and their favorite and least favorite when it comes to pizza.  Meanwhile, Five Guys, Chick-fil-a, and Chipotle round out the favs with Burger King, KFC, and Taco Bell in the bottom.

Maine

You gotta love Mainers who have a love-hate for Dominoes and Chipotle.  They voted it both as their favorite and least favorite pizza and Mexican.  Meanwhile, Five Guys  Chick-fil-a are their go-to for burgers and chicken while their least favorite in those two categories are McDonalds and Popeyes.

Massachusetts

Bay Stater's favorites in these fast food categories are Five Guys, Chick-fil-a, Qdoba, and Chuck E. Cheese with their least favorites being McDonalds, Wingstop, Chipotle, and Dominoes.

Vermont

While the Green Mountain state didn't even have a rank for fast food chicken chains they, too, have a love-hate for Dominoes.  Meanwhile, residents' favorites are Five Guys and Moe's Southwestern Grill while they'll drive by Burger King and Taco Bell.

Rhode Island

Five Guys, Chick-fil-a, and Dominoes are the Ocean State's favorite fast food chains while they're not keen on McDonalds, Popeyes, and Little Caesars.  As for Mexican, Chipotle made their favorite and least favorite least.

Connecticut

Nutmegger's are all about Five Guys, Chick-fil-a, Moe's Southwestern Grill, Little Caesars.  They'll pass on Burger King, Popeyes, Chipotle, and Papa Johns.
