New Hampshire Found the Best Way to Spread Christmas Cheer With ‘Elf the Musical’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’

The Christmas holiday is fast approaching. It is time for Santa Claus, elves, reindeer, and lights. Well, in New Hampshire they are bringing all of it and more as two historic theaters are putting on big-scale musicals that will share the magic of the holidays this month.
You can hang out with your friend "Buddy the Elf" as he eats candy on his spaghetti and sings so loud everyone can hear or you could watch a grouchy businessman travel back in time to Christmases past.
You can choose to go see both shows, or just one. Either way, they are both holiday gems that will make you feel good.
Step inside and take a seat in one of these historic New Hampshire theaters, the 108-year-old Palace Theater in Manchester or the 144-year-old Music Hall in Portsmouth, as they put on musicals that will bring you all the holiday feels. "The Little Mermaid".
"Elf the Musical"
The Ogunquit Playhouse is putting on a performance of "Elf the Musical" at the Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH. According to New Hampshire Union Leader, many of the cast members also were cast in this musical back in 2018 when it was put on at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine. Cast includes Broadway veteran Steven Booth, who will play Buddy, as well as Diana Huey, who starred as Ariel in the U.S. tour of Disney’s "The Little Mermaid".

"A Christmas Carol"
The Palace Theater in Manchester, NH, is putting on "A Christmas Carol" this month. According to New Hampshire Union Leader, this year's performance is the theater's 19th rendition of the show. Due to the pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 performances of the show were smaller scaled, however, this year it is back and bigger than ever!
