HGTV is no stranger to Maine and vice versa.

Actually, you could even maybe even go as far to say that HGTV has a bit of a preference to Maine, considering that we've been showcased on the network before in one way or another.

Maine on HGTV

Back in 2020, HGTV selected a Portland, Maine home as the prize for their "HGTV Urban Oasis" contest. But even after that, Maine still got some HGTV love. Multiple times, actually.

HGTV's My Lottery Dream Home

Currently in its 14th season, last year during Season 13, the hit HGTV show My Lottery Dream Home featured Maine not once but twice -- the first time on an episode titled "Bangor Bucks" and again a few weeks later on an episode titled "Wonderland in Maine."

And tonight, HGTV is dipping back into Maine to feature a beautiful home in Lyman on their popular show House Hunters.

The news first broke earlier this week when Crystal Tropeano, a Maine Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Waterfront, mentioned working with special buyers on a Lyman, Maine home that would be featured on an upcoming episode of House Hunters on HGTV.

While mentioning that she, unfortunately, won't be featured on the show (which would be cool for a local Mainer to be shown crushing her craft on cable television), she also said she knew her clients were working hard on making their own personal updates to the home.

So, the sneak peek you're about to get on the Hanson Lane home in Lyman that will be featured on tonight's House Hunters episode may actually look completely different when all is said and done at the end of the show.

The episode airs tonight (Thursday, February 2) at 10:30p on HGTV.
